CCW Wrestling Ireland:

March 27th, 2016 at the Glen Rovers GAA Club in Cork, Ireland:

Opening Segment
CCW ring announcer Marie came to the ring and asked everyone to stand and sing the Irish National Anthem, due to Ireland commemorating the 1916 rising.

8 Man Tag Team Match
Bingo Balance, Roughshod & The Sidekicks (Jason Maxx & Ace Andrews) defeated The Wood Brothers (Lewis Wood & Lorcan Wood), Billy Bedlam & Xavier Burns (w/Tony Kelly). A nice opening match to really get the crowd revved up and the crowd really seemed to be behind former CCW Heavyweight Champion Bingo Balance from the start. A few antics during the match, including Tony Kelly pulling Xavier Burns out mid-match, to prevent Burns from being attacked by Balance, as well as Burns not getting involved when Balance had Bedlam locked in a submission, which resulted in his team getting the win.

Singles Match
Raven Creed defeated Valkyrie. Good showing here from two of CCW’s bright young female wrestlers. Creed continues to show why she is currently the dominant female of the women’s division right now. Post-match, after Creed extended a handshake and then a beatdown on Valkyrie, a new women’s wrestler by the name of Elektra came out and announced that at CCW Revolution 4 on May 1st at the Glen Rovers GAA Club, she will be facing off against Raven Creed and will teach her a few things about respect.

Fatal Four Way Elimination Match
Conor “The Body” Charisma defeated Omega, El Jobrito and LJ Cleary. Continuing the trend with young talent on the CCW roster, this match showcased four young talents on the CCW roster. The match started off immediately with what can only be described as a quick elimination of LJ Cleary. El Jobrito and Charisma then worked over Omega, before Omega managed to get the upper hand and eliminate Jobrito. The match came down to Omega and Charisma, two of CCW’s youngest stars and gave them an opportunity to shine infront of a very vocal crowd. The ending came with Charisma using the ropes to pin Omega.

In Ring Segment
CCW General Manager Chris Ellis came to the ring and announced that on May 1st at CCW Revolution 4, former TNA Wrestling superstar and British Wrestling legend Doug Williams will be wrestling on the show.

Singles Match
Lycan defeated Kurt Simmons. “The Lone Wolf” is finally back to that moniker having gone his separate ways from The Establishment over the past few shows and got the opportunity to take on Swiss Power Wrestling’s Kurt Simmons, who is a CCW regular over the past couple of months. Lycan had the fans on his side from the start by ripping The Establishment t-shirt he had on him as he made his way to the ring and taking out the Irish flag to commemorate the 1916 rising. Great match between the two with the former CCW Heavyweight Champion getting the victory and putting his name back in the fold for the number one contender’s spot for the CCW Heavyweight Championship.

Singles Match
The Ballymun Bruiser defeated Chuck Taylor. Fans really got behind both men during the whole lot of this match with chants of “Let’s Go Bruiser” and “Chucky T” amongst others, however this can only be described as an absolute crazy, crazy, crazy comedic match between these two, with everything imaginable from nipple twists, to bottles and cans being smacked off each other’s head, to Chuck Taylor slamming Bruiser onto a mini-sized Easter egg, to a little kid getting involved to help Chuck Taylor and more. Lots of comedic fun and in-ring action from these two.

Triple Threat Match For The CCW Heavyweight Championship
Ricky Combat (c) defeated Jack Vice & Lee Cahalane. This was mostly a two on one handicap match for the majority of the match. Xavier Burns and Tony Kelly came out mid-match to put the advantage in The Establishment’s corner, however CCW General Manager Chris Ellis then enlisted the help of Lycan and Chuck Taylor to get rid of Tony Kelly and Xavier Burns. Combat picked up the victory by hitting his finisher on Jack Vice. Post-match, CCW General Manager Chris Ellis announced that on May 1st at CCW Revolution 4, the team of Lee Cahalane & Jack Vice will defend their CCW Tag Team Championships against The Wood Brothers and The Sidekicks, while Xavier Burns will defend his CCW All Star Championship against Bingo Balance. Ellis then turned his attention to the ring and announced that the main event of the show will feature CCW Heavyweight Champion Ricky Combat defending his title against Lycan. Combat got on the mic and said that he is looking forward to facing Lycan, his greatest enemy in his CCW career to date.
