Back in June of last year, it was announced that director Erik Angra put together a Kickstarter fund for a documentary he was working on titled “The Reconstruction of Chyna”.
The film focuses around Joanie “Chyna” Laurer as she returns home to the U.S. for the first time in several years, touring across the country and beginning her new life after living a few years peacefully in Japan.
Since Chyna passed away, many questions have been floating around on if they film will still be finished or not.
“Joanie really wanted this documentary to be made”, Angra explained. “She was really excited about it.It’s about more than just her, but also about these celebrities and the things they go through, how complicated their lives can be.”
