As seen on Raw last night. It looked like Sami Zayn appeared to have injured his shoulder during his segment with Kevin Owens, Roman Reigns, Chris Jericho and AJ Styles. At the end of the segment, Zayn and Owens started to brawl and Zayn knocked Owens out of the ring. Zayn then hit a tope, but appeared to have landed awkwardly. The camera immediately cut away from Zayn, and Zayn ran to the back clutching his shoulder.
A backstage segment was later filmed with Owens attacking Zayn to remove him from tonight’s RAW main event, to be replaced by the returning Cesaro. Everybody is wondering if Sami got injured for real. But take a deep breathe folks. Sami is fined.
Cesaro’s involvement in the match was planned, and Zayn holding his shoulder to the back was apparently him just selling.
