A new documentary by Mark Chervinsky, titled “At What Cost? Anatomy of Professional Wrestling”, takes a look at the lives of professional wrestlers and how the sport has impacted their lives. Pro Wrestling names such as Diamond Dallas Paige, Jerry Lynn, Brian Kendrick, Paul London and others were interviewed for the movie, and director Chervinsky recently joined The Roman Show to talk about the project:
On the focus of the documentary:
“I made it over a four year period interviewing some of the great wrestlers I grew up watching like Jake The Snake Roberts and Diamond Dallas Page. I get their perspective on their career all the indy guys around guys trying to get in the business and the sacrifices they make to live their dream. It’s a mix of all the stories and what it takes to be part of the business”.
On how he was able to get in touch with the wrestlers, and how he got them to open up in the film:
“A lot of it is luck. I worked in with Wrestling Society X when I moved to Hollywood. I had access from David Marquez wrestling”.
