CBS Sunday Morning ran a story about the women behind WrestleMania 32, namely Stephanie McMahon and Charlotte  Jones Anderson, daughter of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.

Like Stephanie, Charlotte is the Chief Brand Officer for the Dallas Cowboys, and revealed that she was responsible for Cowboys Stadium hosting WrestleMania 32.

“I made the pitch of why we needed to be together, and why Wrestlemania had to occur here,” Charlotte said. “And when it was over, Vince looked down the table and he said, ‘We’re gonna come to AT&T Stadium.'”

Stephanie also talked about working for Vince, and how he challenges her to work harder.

“He challenges me more, he drives me harder,” Stephanie said. “You don’t expect respect; you have to earn it from everyone.”

Stephanie also talked about having to slap mother Linda on RAW once, saying that she almost threw up and calling it “the single hardest thing” that she’s ever had to do on television. She also said that Vince once threatened to fire her.

“No, I’ve never threatened to fire her, I know that sometimes I’ve expressed my disappointment, which is probably worse,” Vince said.

“He might not remember that he threatened to fire me,” Stephanie said.

“I’ve probably threatened to fire everyone who’s ever worked here,” Vince replied. “It’s sort of a motivational technique.”

Stephanie declined to comment on if she will one day take over the company, and said that they are focusing on breaking the indoor attendance record next Sunday.
