Wrestlers Injured at Lucha Underground Tapings

F4WOnline.com is reporting that two injuries took place at the Lucha Underground tapings over the weekend. The first injury involved Angelico. Those in attendance say that he had a bad landing after performing a springboard move. The referee threw up the X sign and the other wrestlers continued to finish the match while Angelico was taken to the back.

The second injury involved Matanza Cueto.  According to multiple sources, the luchador was meant to punch through a fake window, but ended up going for the wrong one (much like Bill Goldberg did back in WCW with a limousine window). As he punched through the glass, he cut a vein open and blood gushed everywhere. Rey Mysterio, Jr. and Dragon Azteca, Jr. brawled with “The Darewolf” PJ Black and Johnny Mundo while Matanza received medical attention and was rushed to the hospital.  It’s reported that the injury looked worse than it actually was. Cueto (whose real name is Jeff Cobb) took to his Facebook to assure fans that he is expected to be back in the ring within the next week or so, just in time for the nest set of tapings:
